Troubled Kingdom portrays a modern day African Royal family (the Bamunka Kingdom) that is caught between a typical grass field culture of Cameroon and the prevailing Western culture. King Sanda’s children after studying abroad returns to the kingdom and are caught up with the tradition that only allows a prince or princess to get married to another prince or princess from another kingdom. Prince James (Moma Pascal) is been hunted for love by the prime ministers daughter (Ojong Solange) and against princess Daina’s (yijika Solange) efforts, Princess Nora (Mairo Sanda) the kings crazy and hot tempered daughter is falling strongly for Nixon (Epule Jeffery) an uncultured near gang star from the US who stop at nothing to protect his interest towards getting princess Nora from the hands of Princess Lewis (Fred Keyanti) of the Bamising Kingdom. All these abominable situations keep the king (Otia Vitalis), Queen (Agbor Magdalene), the council of elders and the entire village in complete anger and confusion. What happens there after is the story TROUBLED KINGDOM.
